This page explains what information this website collects, why we collect it, and who else handles it. It describes what actually happens on this site rather than what a general-purpose privacy notice might say. If our practices change, we update this page.
What this site collects
Three things on this site collect information from you. Nothing else does.
The liability waiver
Our general liability waiver collects the most sensitive information on the site, because a coach needs it on hand if something goes wrong during a session. It asks for:
- The athlete's name and date of birth
- An email address and phone number
- For athletes under 18, a parent or guardian's name, relationship to the athlete, and phone number
- An emergency contact's name, relationship, and phone number
- Any injuries, medical conditions, allergies, or medications, entered as free text
- Authorisation for emergency medical treatment
- A typed full legal name, which serves as the signature
Most of the athletes we train are children, so most of these waivers describe a child's health. We collect this information for one reason: so that a coach on the floor can act correctly in an emergency and reach the right adult. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or use it for marketing.
The contact form
Our contact form asks for your name, your email address, and your message. We use it to reply to you.
Booking and payment
Booking and payment are handled by Square, not by this website. When you book or pay, you are entering your details into Square's system under Square's terms. We never see your full card number.
Information about children
If the athlete is under 18, the waiver is intended to be completed by a parent or legal guardian, not by the athlete. The form asks for a guardian's name and contact details for that reason.
If you are a parent or guardian and you want to see what we hold about your child, correct it, or ask us to delete it, contact us using the details below and we will work through it with you.
Who else handles your information
- Square runs our booking and payment. Their privacy policy is at https://squareup.com/us/en/legal/general/privacy
- Squarespace hosts this website and sets cookies, including analytics cookies. Their privacy policy is at https://www.squarespace.com/privacy
Cookies
This site uses cookies set by our hosting platform, including cookies that measure how the site is used. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking them may affect how parts of the site work.
How long we keep information
Your choices and requests
You can ask us what information we hold about you or your athlete, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you.
